'Wills 4 Hospice’ - Hugely Popular

Poole Townsend were so inundated with calls to have a FREE Will drawn up in April during their ‘Wills 4 Hospice’ campaign in aid of St Mary’s Hospice, Ulverston, that they had to extend the offer to this month (June). 

 

The team of specialist solicitors at Poole Townsend are continuing to see client’s under the FREE ‘Wills 4 Hospice’ campaign who contacted them in April and to date have seen 110 local people.  This number is due to increase during the month of June along with the amount of money raised so far, £7,305. 

 

Zoe Guest, Head of Income Generation at St Mary’s comments:  “This fabulous offer from Poole Townsend attracted a huge amount of attention from local people which is great news for the hospice.   

 

“Offering FREE Wills throughout the month of April was a fantastic opportunity for local people in Barrow-in-Furness, Dalton, Ulverston, Grange-over-Sands and the surrounding villages to put their affairs in order and help a local charity at the same time”.
 

The suggested, but entirely voluntary donation level was £75 for a basic single Will, £110 for a pair of Wills or £40 for a codicil to an existing Will.
